Teaching

Tim has over twenty five years' experience of teaching JAZZ PIANO, BLUES PIANO and IMPROVISATION, privately, in secondary schools, in adult education and at degree level.

He has also led WORKSHOPS, for all instruments at various levels from beginners to advanced, all over the UK.

In 2006 he gained a teaching qualification from Goldsmiths College - the GRADUATE DIPLOMA in MUSIC TEACHING to ADULTS.

Classes or workshops for all instruments

• Small Jazz Studio Ensemble
A three-term course for ALL instruments at Morley College (London), with time spent in the recording studio making a demo. Bass, drums, brass, woodwind etc are all welcome!

A range of jazz standards in different styles are covered. Help is given with improvisation, interpretation, chord symbols, etc.

All classes are on Tuesdays 8:00-9:30pm. Students are encouraged to enrol for all 3 terms. Start dates are:
